Project 05 | Complete
This month was tough for a lot of us. Our materials dried out, became brittle, and broke before we even had a chance to use them. Travel, work, and family all tugged on our time and attention. Despite all of the demands, the group managed to make interesting things from leaves, petals, sticks, stones, and bones. Good work folks.

Materials: Twigs from Central Park and grass/leaves from cover crop in our garden.

CF | Sfear: Cocytus Studies No. 6
This structure encodes an ancient mathematics — the same proportions found in sacred sites across cultures, now deployed in service of a more personal cosmology. The dome is a container for directed sorrow. The central stone is the focal instrument.
There is no wrong way to use this piece. There is, however, a right way.
Materials: Laurel, wire, malice

CF | Shadow Frame
Materials: Leaves from the yard and sunlight

GF | Rites of Spring

Note: This work was modified after being compared to a rather
contemptible political figure.

When I was a kid and I couldn't find the words to explain how I felt I would often say: I feel like a tree that has lost its leaves.
